Production Update

TICKETS ARE SELLING FAST FOR WHO DOES THAT? 

Hi everyone,

Our Production Who Does That ? begins next week at Baycourt Theatre. 

Your family and friends can purchase tickets for the show.

They are $16 for adults and $10 for children.  These are for the evening shows. There are 3 evening shows Tuesday 7.00pm Wednesday 7.00pm and Thursday 7.00pm.

Sunday Rehearsal 26 June

Hi everyone. Just a reminder that tomorrow is the last Sunday rehearsal.Thank you to those students who have given me a note to be excused.

10.00am - 12.00pm is for everyone in Act One including production choir, band and Material Girl dancers. Hip Hop dancers and Boys Choir do not have to attend. I will catch up with you all at school on Monday.

1.00pm - 3.00pm is for everyone in Act Two including production choir, band and dancers. Boys Choir, Stomp, Pacifica and fan dancers do not have to attend. I will catch up with you all at school on Monday.

Only two weeks to go until production week!  Please ensure you attend all rehearsals necessary.

Monday - Block 2 : Girls Choir

            - After school: Miss Spencers Dance group.

Tuesday - Block 1 : Girls Choir
               lunchtime: Lead singers 

             - Block 2: Joseph's Beat it Dance group and the Band

Wednesday - Whole day of Production

                  - Block 1: Whole cast including actors, singers, choir,    

                     band and all dancers, to do the Finale, "Price Tag"

                  - Block 2: Choir, Girls/Dancers in the Party scene.

                  - Block 3: Choir, both boys and girls.

Thursday - lunchtime: Lead singers

               - After school 3.10pm - 5.10pm:  ALL ACTORS in

                 Act one and Act two.

Friday - Block 1: Everyone in Act One to attend. (Actors, choir, 

             dancers, band, singers)

           - Block 2: Everyone in Act Two to attend. (Actors, choir, dancers, band, singers)

SUNDAY - FULL DAY OF REHEARSAL.  

10am to 12pm: EVERYONE in Act One to attend. (Actors, choir, 

             dancers, band, singers
1pm to 3pm: EVERYONE in Act TWO to attend. (Actors, choir,

Please bring your lunch and something quiet to do while you are waiting for your scenes.

Thursday lunchtime - Miss Spencers Dance group in the Whare
Thursday 3.10pm - 5.10pm - All of Act 1

Friday - Block 1 - To be announced at Thursday after school rehearsal. 
Friday - Block 2 -  To be announced at Thursday after school rehearsal. 

SUNDAY - FULL DAY OF REHEARSAL.  

All actors in Act 1 to attend. 10am to 12pm. 

All actors in Act 2 to attend.  1pm to 3pm

Message from Ms Storey

A message from Ms Storey for the long weekend.

Who Does That ?

This long weekend is a great opportunity to memorise you lines.  Have your script next to your bed so you can read it before you go to sleep and when you wake up in the morning. Practise in the bathroom when you are looking in the mirror and brushing your teeth. Talk to your toothbrush. Practise saying your lines to your dog, cat, bird, goldfish or teddy bear. Have fun. See you at the next rehearsal.

TBC and TGC production - Grease

Hi everyone,

Our school has been given the wonderful opportunity to be the audience for the dress rehearsal of the Tauranga Boys College and Tauranga Girls College production of Grease.

The show will be held at the Graham Young Youth Theatre, Tauranga Boys College on the 15th June.   

We will be walking and will leave school at about 11:00am.   We will be leaving Boys College between 2:15 and 2:30 so should be back to school before 3pm.  Students must be in the correct uniform. 

The cost is $3. This can be paid when returning the  permission slip, to Whaea Raina in the Food Technology room.  

As seats are restricted, they will be given on a first in first served basis.  

If you want a notice, please see Whaea Raina in the Food Tech room or you can print out or write out the permission slip below and return it to school with the $3.

Friday - Block 1 - 9am:  Meeting for everyone in Production for 15 minutes.  Following the meeting, all dancers, hip hop, Pacifica and stomp groups to attend.
Friday - Block 2 - Act 1 Scene 2 and  Act 2 Scene 6
Friday lunch - Queen and her friends in the Technology block for costume arrangements.
Friday - Block 3 - Hamuera and all Rebels in the whare.
